Full Version: Node Reducer

All;

This macro will reduce the number of nodes in a curve. Yes, there is a slider bar node reducer on the property bar. This works a little differently. It's an invocation of a 'forgotten'(?) CorelDraw command that is supposed to reduce the number of nodes by deleting any nodes that will not deviate the curve path more than the specified amount. The default is .010".

Usage: Select a curve, run the macro, key-in the deviation amount (try the default first), and click go. There is an "undo" so you can play with different values.

As always, use at your own risk. This macro will probably only appeal to users that use CorelTrace.
