Tom "Buzz" Bernard's article, Jack and Jill Build a Laser Business: Part Two appears in this month's (March 2007) A&E magazine.
Buzz's goal, is to help a newbie laser owner and his wife, create a product line and pay off their equipment as soon as possible.
You don't have to be a newbie to appreciate that advice. :-)
Also, be sure to visit Buzz, as he becomes a speaker on this year's NBM trade show circuit.

My sister Diana will be there. Although she doesn't own a single piece of equipment, she loves that show, and enjoys staying on top of the current marking technologies for our promotional product clients.

Quite prudent on your wife's part I might say (devil)

David,
That's one of the reasons to stay on top of the technology. Even if we don't own the equipment, being able to speak intelligently about the various processes, or have a working knowledge, prevents us from having to say those 9 deadly words:
I'll have to get back to you on that.
It makes a difference, in the confidence of our customers.EDITED: 10 Mar 2007 by DGL

Tom "Buzz" Bernard's series, "Jack and Jill Create A Laser Business: Part Three" appears in the April 2007 issue of A&E.
Did Jack and Jill fall down the hill, in an attempt to impress a corporate buyer, by not putting their best foot forward?
If so, can they recover?
Quality, Quality, Quality and More Quality, is the essence of the article. :-)
