So I ask you, does this forum take over the show? There seems to be a lot of you/us attending? I'm very excited to meet you all, should be a real hoot!

Just a thought, don't flame me if it's a bad thought. What about posting a pic of each of us so those of us who doesn't know or is new to the business can look for a familiar face?

You can put a picture in your profile. If you like to be grossed out, glance at my profile.

Jo,

I can't say we take over the show, but last year, I ran into Rolf, John Montgomery, Chuck Burke (maybe another person or two) and we visited a booth or two together.

Chuck was putting the hard grind on Jim Cagnina, of Coast Graphic Supply for some sublimation equipment. In the end he didn't take the plunge, but I got a kick out of that.

Some of the best entertainment of the show. :-)

Still the beard and ponytail. I have to have hair somewhere, the top is getting very thin lately.

I do not see your pic in your profile. (devil)

Harvey, I'm there! This was in August with my 9 year old daughter. I look a bit different now but not enough to not recognize me at the show :)

Does that mean we're going to put our Eds together?

Chuck,

I was actually impressed. You did an admirable job of negotiating a deal. I'm not much of a negotiator, which is why I enjoyed your performance. :-)

Although Quark's will be the post-show meeting place, any night, Thursday, will be THE NIGHT.

6:00 pm sounds good.

David,

As long as your promise not to bother Fish until he is DONE with my site, I have a suggestion.....

We need a photo gallery to post pics of the ARA show for those unfortunate enough to not be able to come meet us.......er I mean attend the show..... yeah , that's what I meant....attend the show...yeah that's it.......

David,

Thank you for your kind word, however HAD I actually negotiated the deal we would have made the deal. LOL

See you soon.

Chuck,

From what I know of John, he's not easily bothered. :-)

I was actually thinking along the same lines. If we could rope someone into being the official EE photographer, photos could be sent to John, which could be turned into a slide show for those who couldn't attend.

I don't know if there are rules against cameras being on the show floor, but it would be great to get some shots of impressive new products etc. to include in the slide show.

Next best thing to being there. :-)

In the past, it was one of the few trade shows that welcomed cameras.

I'll bring my camera.....I think the photo gallery should have an upload feature so that way anyone can share their vegas stuff, but I'm happ to be the EE photo dude.

As for product specific pics I believe there are infact rules about that. I know there were at the NBM show anyway.....but I'll smuggle mine in for some GENERIC shots......better to ask forgiveness that permission....... (devil)

The forum is a form of media, why not ask for a press pass and camera rule exemption. ;-)
