You are referring to the Raster Method of Braille. This process involves drilling a hole and placing a small spherical object inside of that hole to produce domed shaped Braille.

Thank you Angie.

Are there methods, other than raster, for producing braille on glass?

David,

I really don't know a lot of information about other methods of putting Braille on glass. I do know that it is possible to diamond etch or sandblast the braille into the glass, but unfortunately I don't have any detailed information. If you would like to know more about the Raster Method, please give me a call.

Angie,

Your explanation makes sense. Thank you for taking time, from your busy schedule, to address our questions.
