Thanks for the plug.
I’m looking at holding the call the last week of April; Probably 27 or 28. The time just needs to be determined to suit the majority.
Who knows, we may be able to swing a special guest or 2.
The main reason I’m doing this call, is to help as many members of the forum as possible and to see if this is a viable media for the people on this forum.
If there is a positive response, I am looking at expanding the content and covering things such as website conversion, how to take an offline business online, newspaper & Yellow Page advertising and whatever people need marketing help with.
I will be using an *Autoresponder* system to promote/follow-up the teleseminar, so this would be a fantastic opportunity to learn how to market to your clients through e-mail for free.
The call is free. You just have to pay the long distance charge if you want to participate in the call. The call will be recorded and available to download, if you can’t make it. (Again at no charge to members of this forum.)
The content of the of the call will be made up from the questions that we receive at www.ultimate-marketing-solutions.com. This means that you get to have YOUR questions answered; Not something that I think is important to you.
We have already received some great questions. Remember there is no such thing as a stupid question.

This looks like the beginning of an exciting new facet of the forum that we'll be able to use time and time again.
We'll always operate in the realm of the printed-word, but this approach will appeal to those who don't like to read as much, which is one of the barriers-to-joining, that I hear in discussions with people I try to recruit.

Since this will be the "Maiden Voyage" of what I hope to be many more Teleseminars, interviews, etc., I have some questions:
1) With multiple people on the line, isn't there a chance that people will talk over one another, making some of the call confusing, if not unintelligible?
2) Will people, besides the two of us, be only those with (pre-submitted) questions, or are "eavesdroppers" welcome?
It's an exciting format and I just want it to go as smoothly as possible.

Hey David,
1. I have only seen a problem on one call and I have been on a lot of call. And that just boiled down rude people! So no I don’t think it will be a problem at all.
2. Everyone is welcome. This call is for the members of the forum. If you can’t make the call but have a question about your business. Please post it. The call will be recorded so I'll try and answer it.
We are in the start of the 2nd quarter for 2006. That means that you should have already achieved 25% of your goals for 2006. Have you set goals for your business?

Another question:
For those calling in, and concerned about the cost of their phone call, what area code will the Teleseminar be held in?
Speaking for myself, (and I imagine others), making it past April 15th, in one piece, is a major part of my annual goal. :-)

This is an awesome start!
I’m still working out the logistics. Should know tomorrow or Monday at the latest.
Some teleconferencing companies work better than other. But generally speaking most end up being based in either Nevada or Phoenix.
But I’ll be honest. If the cost of the call is a concern, please don’t call. If that really is the case, then this call is definitely not for you.
I don’t mean to be blunt or disrespectful; but if you are serious about building your business you are going to need to invest in marketing. I’m not talking large sums of money. But there will be an investment involved. So if the cost of long distance is a barrier then just email me your question and I’ll get to it when I can.

I was just asking a question, that may be on the minds of our members.
I'm entirely with you. It takes money, to make money; but not as much as many would think.
This upcoming phone call, could be a small investment, and the first step, toward much less hand-wringing, over the cost of phone bills. :-)

Please don’t mis-understand me because I don’t mean to come off sounding rude.
But I’m handling this call as if you are my client and you hired me to consult with you on your marketing issues.
So here is a really important point. If you can’t afford to call me, you certainly won’t be able to implement what needs to be done.
Are you trying to get me to rant? Just kidding. My goal of the call is to help them work less and earn more.
I’m really looking forward to next weeks call.

As for myself, I've scrimped, recycled aluminum cans, deprived my daughter of Happy Meals and shut down all but the necessary electricity, coming into my home, in order to make that very crucial call, a week from today. :P
