Thanks Harvey,
I've edited it. It was never meant to read that way.
I'd buy Chuck a beer but he'd probably get another hangover >.<

Hi Bill
Are you Zip Zap?
If so I got it.
If not try re-sending it again.
The call in information will be posted on the forum as well.
Thanks
Anthony

I'm looking forward to the Teleseminar.
Many of us are skilled technicians and have made considerable investments in equipment, yet, when it comes to getting word out about our products, or finding ways to maximize profits, through marketing, it's a topic we don't think much about.
We'd rather play with our toys. :-)

Since this will be our first (but not last) Teleseminar, will there be a period of time to "get our bearings", before you begin recording the proceedings?

David,
I don't really think is necessary. The 1st 5 minutes is normally for general introductions etc. It’s pretty much the same as having a regular conversation, but with 25 other people listening in!. The line can stay open after if people want to chat. It’s up to them.
Let me know if you need anything else.

Damn! What did I miss?
It was not "a" beer Anthony, it was the SIX you insisted I have while we beat up on David L....... :-)
I'm just seeing this thread for the first time....where do I sign?
As for anyone that my be worried out the cost of the call, almost ALL of the cell phone companies have unlimited night and weekend minutes with long distance after 7:00p.m....this would work for most, however, since the call is at 5:00 pm PST...that is 2:00 pm for me....so I guess I'll have to pay through the nose.....but for a chance to talk to you big boy, it will be worth it. ( insert laugh here)

I was going to come onto the seminar tonight, but I have to work at my other job until 10:00 so I will not be able to attend via phone.
Perhaps when the recording is done, I can order one.
Hope everything goes well, and you all come away with a lot of marketing ideas for this particular industry.
I am sure that Anthony will come through.

As you say, the good news, for those not involved with the "live" call, is the ability to download the presentation.
This is new ground for me, but Anthony is a veteran of the Teleseminar, which, if all goes well, you'll see many more developed for our EE members.
Kick-off is a little over 4 hours from now. :-)

Hey Chuck
I was trying to be funny when I should have been sleeping. My original post was funny in my head, but when Harvey pointed out that it had another meaning, I quickly edited. Thanks again Harvey.
"a" Beer! Only six little beers. You must drink too many cocktails with umbrellas.
You know it’s been almost a year since we had those drinks with Dave and still nothing!
Too bad you deleted those late night posts.
I look forward to having you on the call.
Best Regards
Anthony

Hi Barbara,
That’s a shame that you’ll miss the call, but that is one great things about this type of media. It can be played at a later date. And I’ll be sure we cover your questions.
Let me know if you need anything else.
Best Regards
Anthony

At this moment, 4:30 pm PST, in CA, we're 1/2 hr. away from the beginning this exciting chapter in EE history. :-)

For a "first time", it covered a lot of territory and was both enjoyable and educational....
As I understand the plan, future teleseminars will be more structured as to the topic being covered, but tonight hit everything from basic marketing ideas to employee productivity both for the engraver's shop and as a tool to market to customers and prospects.
Definitly worth the time invested... and YES, I consider it an investment, not just a phone conference.
Anthony, THANK YOU and I look forward to many more!
Chuck, you looked great on your webcam!
David, David and Harvey, thanks for making it happen.

Thank you to my fellow moderators, David Takes and Harvey Lentchner, along with Steve Sambor, Chuck Burke, Cindy Murray and especially Anthony Coyne, for taking part in the live discussion.
Anthony tells me the MP3 recording will be available, to those of you interested, within the next couple of days.
This initial Teleseminar was mainly done to test the concept. All who participated, are already looking forward to the next Teleseminar. :-)
