Our first Teleseminar, featuring guest speaker, Anthony Coyne, of Ultimate Marketing Solutions, is a wrap!

Thank you to my fellow moderators, David Takes and Harvey Lentchner, along with Steve Sambor, Chuck Burke, Cindy Murray and especially Anthony Coyne, for taking part in the live discussion.

Anthony tells me the MP3 recording will be available, to those of you interested, within the next couple of days.

This initial Teleseminar was mainly done to test the concept. All who participated, are already looking forward to the next Teleseminar. :-)

Steve,

You beat me too it!

As I mentioned, at the beginning of the Teleseminar, I'll be the first to commend Anthony for his marketing knowledge, simply because the concept of the Teleseminar was one of his early tips to me.

Just the beginning of a very valuable facet of our site. :-)

Thanks again to Anthony "The Aussie" Coyne.

Thanks for taking part, Steve. The synergy was awesome!

I listened to the replay of the Teleseminar.

Yikes! Sounds like I really need an amplifier on my phone.

There's much more to the recording than has been posted; in fact, the real meat of the discussion comes after Anthony announces we're going to wrap things up. :-)

Stay tuned.

Sorry Everyone.
I forgot that I had split the file in 2 to keep the size of the file down.
Both parts are posted now.
Let me know if there are any other problems.
Thanks
Anthony

Hello David,

I listened to both parts, from beginning to end, and you can through fine to me. APPLAUSE< To Anthony and everyone who remember to go to the first marketing Teleseminar. As a listener only is was "GREAT" information!! I was also glad that Anthony put the files into MP3, audio only files, so I didn't see any hula skirt files while people were on their cell phones. Great questions and information. Looking forward to hopefully joining in on your Teleseminar #2.

Thank you David, and to those who listened to the recording, for the positive feedback.

This "powderkeg" of a format, is a groundbreaking chapter in the history of EE and I had no idea what to expect, (with respect to its structure), although I did expect the content to be very valuable.

I wasn't disappointed.

On a side note, I rarely listen to recordings of my voice, so for those of you who may think I was born in Texas or Oklahoma you'll have to blame my accent on a good friend of mine, who I spent a lot of time around, during Junior High and High Schools.

I've never lived anywhere but the Greater Los Angeles area of California. :-)

I hate the sound of my recorded voice, monotone and dead. In the studio days I was amazed when a client wanted to use me for some recordings, I guess they were desperate for a NY accent. I was born and raised in southern Brooklyn but had a distinct Manhattan accent. Just glad I did not have to edit any of those sessions. It got to the point of one and two takes only. I guess they got tired of it also. :-)

I think your voice records fairly well, mine I just do not like.

Harvey,

I don't think it's uncommon for a person not to like the sound of their recorded voice.

I thought your voice sounded fine.

I seriously doubt people who listened to the Teleseminar were obsessing on the individual voices. It's the content they were tuning in for, and although this "first-time-out" was a little loose, structure-wise, the content was solid enough.

What can we do?

Our voices, are our voices, and we can't all be blessed with the announcer-style voice, of Chuck Burke. :-)

Anthony,

On the subject of playing the Teleseminar (TS) at a later date, since I'm not much of a technofile, is there a way for people to download the MP3 file to an iPod or burn it to a CD?

As much fun as sitting in front of a computer, listening to a conference call can be >.< I think more people would be inclined to listen to the TS while multi-tasking, away from their computers.

Hi David
I just did a test and burnt the files to CD using Real player. So yes these MP3 files should be good for all the formats.
For the next seminar I can also put the format into streaming audio if people prefer listening to it on their computers.
Let me know.
I posted the link here again so people don’t have to go searching through the other posts.

Hi
I just wanted to let people know that the 5 bonus spots I mentioned at the end of last weeks teleseminar are still up for grabs. (Well 4 if Mike takes advantage of 1 of them)
I am also looking at scheduling a series of marketing seminars in the next few weeks. I'll let you know more as I put it all together.
Thanks
Anthony
