Full Version: Should there be a new folder for useless bickering threads?

I think a "3 Strikes You're Out" policy would be useful.

If a person posts a comment that 3 other forum members find offensive, snipey, instigative and just plain inappropriate, they receive a warning. When they receive warnings for 3 different posts, they will no longer be able to post any comment without a moderator's review/approval.

Moderators can post as many snipey comments as they please. The more they do, the more they alienate and lose respect their forum members.

Chuck,

I had a feeling that was the case, and as you know, I have a little bit of that feeling myself. I think the best advice would be for those who want to bicker, just take it outside.

David and Brian obviously enjoy their battles, but frankly, both are losing more and more respect with each episode.

Maybe someone needs to start a third forum with a no-tolerance policy to the unproductive, self-defeating jabs, button pushings. whatever you want to call it.

The bottom line is - it's getting very, very old.

You mean threads like this one? This whole thread was designed to provoke.

Who wants to be the bigger person here? I invite all of those involved to refrain from having to get in the LAST WORD
