Barbara,

I'm sure video will be part of next year's party. It was a suggestion a few people made.

We're using that sea of pictures to select which ones we'll use for a home page slide show, with captions.

Even though we didn't get a "Class of 2007" picture this year, there's one shot of quite a few people at their tables, that will suffice.

Cody's song was great! I think it struck a chord (so to speak) with many of the people in the room.

I'd like to work with him in producing a polished version with more instruments etc.

The Chuckster was on fire as our MC. Very entertaining and he kept things moving at a good pace. I'm sure he made that job look much easier than it actually was.

We had a few Aussies at the party and I'm sure next year, when Peter Vasic comes, he'll bring more with him.

My prediction for next year is, as difficult as it is to imagine, an even better Beach Party.

I am looking forward the the photos with the captions. I loved Becky's but I didn't recognize a lot of the people. I did know some of them though.
Harvey, Dee, you, and Chuck.
Dee did offer captions on her photos, so now I have a face for Becky, Cody, and Joe.
Thanks for letting me know that I can expect more. I am sure there are a lot of us that will enjoy them.

I want to know why David started the night in a white shirt and dark pants and later pics he has dark shirt and white pants.

Was the first outfit his "Master of Ceremonies" outfit and the second his "award recipient outfit"?

Or is he such a diva that he needeed to change his wardrobe mutiple times a night? (devil)

Inquiring minds want to know.

David,
I think you should. It is a great tune.

I mentioned to Cody he should polish it and sell it. I think he would make a killing...but he just wanted to do it for fun...so encourage him......it was a GREAT tune.

Yeah - most of us old engravers are deaf and the young folk started drinkn' early. (devil) Those two things make people easier to work with. Some could not hear him some did not care.

Chuck - Congratulations on that prize - I bought one a few years ago when Roy first started talking about them and you will love it!!! After you get it set up if you have any questions give me a call - the instructions are some what normal for those types of scanners - vage! Very deserving of your hard work.

Yes that is VERY generous of Mike. I'm not worthy.

But Mikes kind and generous offer is a PRIME example of what makes this forum special......the comraderie, the family, the friends and the helpfulness of all of the members....

As I mentioned at the bash, I have never seen so many helpful folks in one place. There were so many people there that have helped me....progress and have spent time with me......and there are many that weren't

When I knew you had gone home, I was sad...then when I knew I was probably the last one there it was sad too...because it was Soooooooooooo much fun...a couple of times I said to Lisa, "Hey,,,there's Joe..........but NOOOOOOOOOO.........( insert laugh here)

Anyway, a splendid time was had by all.....359 days until the next one.

Ah Becky you let the cat out of the bag - I was going to make him think about that one for a while. 8-O There are photos of some of us from 3 different nights in 3 different locations and each of us had different clothes on each night. Now they will have it figured out that not only did we have a party Thursday night we had a party every night! Now there going to want to come next year.
