Full Version: anyone interested?

I'm hoping a few people from universal see this too! A while ago my mom contacted our ULS sales rep about doing a show here at our shop. She seemed interested yet we haven't heard anything since. Our shop is located near Grand Rapids Michigan. The reason we were offering our building is because we think it'd be a place a lot easier to use than a hotel conference room like the other shows we've been too. We have a large 4 stall two story heated garage, with the full opening doors and if there was a beautiful spring day and we could have some of the doors open it would create a nice draft for ventilation. I'm just curious if there is anyone interested out there in coming to a show in the Grand Rapids Michigan area? My parents are also frequent visitors of the Letterville bullboard website and attend the letterhead meets. Which I'm sure we would invite those friends of my parents also, but it would be nice to get some folks around to trade info with. We have a lot of materials here to our disposal if needed while trading ideas and hints and tips and tricks. Just wondering if i coudl get some feed back as to what others think about this.

Thanks

Kate,

Sounds like a good opportunity. Any idea when?

Don't know if I'll be able to attend, but the more this type of thing is spread to areas of the country which the bigger shows don't cover, the better.

We arent quite sure on when we'd do it yet... Right now we are thinking probably late summer maybe early fall. Right now we are trying to figure out if people would come and what people would like to see here... any suggestions?

Kate,

The best approach for "any" gathering would be to establsih a date/time, which will allow people to determine if they'll be able to attend. Naturally, that decision is based on financial, work-related, and possible conflicts with other shows they plan to attend.

We haven't discussed the Engraving Etc. Live! event for a while. We're allowing people to bask in the afterglow of the ARA Las Vegas show.

Looks like we'll both have to establish our desired dates and times :-)

Kate,

I am an education junkie, so my response is always the more the merrier. I do want to let you know that the dates for the Engraving Etc. Live! event in Kansas City are circling around late July to early August.

By the way, I spent a few of my college years in Big Rapids. Nice country!
