If you're looking to buy inexpensive (ink jet) sublimation ink, you're choices are becoming increasingly slim.

Sawgrass today filed suit on ColorStar, Ethan Murray, Christina Murray, John Murray & Wholesale Inks + the guy who is running ColorStar all of them were also sued personally.

Yikes!!

At this time, Sublijet (Sawgrass Technologies) and Artainium (Tropical Graphics, a subsidiary of SG Tech.) are your best bet for a replenishable supply of ink.

Evidently the SG patents are holding up very well in court.

David,

While the Sawgrass lawsuits have been a burr in the saddle of many, there is still plenty of profit in the process. The market will always force Sawgrass to price their ink products where the subbers can make a reasonable profit, otherwise they have no customers.

I still think that the Sawgrass monopoly will change as other full color imprinting technologies are developed. I know that Al La Costa with Automatic Transfer Inc. has completed the final beta testing of a laser sublimation process that he is introducing. As with any new process, the jury is still out. See the link below for the discussion.
