Brian,
While they are no longer available, there are scores of Things Remembered stores that still use these.
The current United Innovations still works with similar software but they now, like everyone else, prefer to sell an entire system rather than having to find an old Hermes to retrofit. Reminding you that the Domiteaux system did the same thing from 1984 till about '92 ( that is mounted their mechanism on top of a Hermes pantograph.

Ever see any old ones kicking around (cheap) that I could mount on my New Hermes?

Brian,
I'll keep my eyes open for a complete system, but I'll almost guarantee you that you'll never find one not already on a Hermes. No one ever takes them off unless it is "dead/and/can't/b/fixed" anyway.

I would consider a dead unit for the right price. Since I already have a pantograph, I wouldn't want a complete system.
