First, let me apologize if you got this message twice. I hit enter and my message disappeared. I will try and recreate it.
I understand and agree with you about that thread regarding Steve Spence. I come to this forum to learn and to share what I have learned ( if anything). This forum in my opinion is primarily about sharing information, contacts, problems, solutions and education...
While I do not know Mr. Spence or the details of the thread or the case, my simple response was WOW!.
In America today I believe that we have gone to an extreme of being politically correct trying to not offend ANYONE. This in MY opinion is unreasonable and may infact infringe on ones constitutional right to free speech. However as pointed out, this forum is much like a radio station. If you don't like what is being said, then change the channel. ( by this I mean move to a different thread, not stop being involved with the forum).
I personally believe that should one leave the forum or not participate because of ONE thread, then not only is that person missing out on an opportunity to learn, but an opportunity to SHARE. The one thing that we CAN take with us when we die is knowledge. To take that and not share it, is in MY humble opinion, a crime.
With that said, I APPRECIATE you speaking out, but I would encourage you to continue to be a part of this forum and to learn and share with the rest of us.
Now if you will excuse me, with all due respect, my Heineken is getting warm.
