Our current printer which is a HP5550 inkjet is on its last legs and we are looking for a replacement. Since we use primarly Rapid Mask we need the printer to lay down a heavy black cover (Negative printing).
Any suggestions out there?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

David,
I have been using an Epson C86. I still have not embraced the properties of RapidMask for much of my glass work, but this printer does seem to work fine with this resist material.

David,
For some reason I thought that that printer was discontinued a while ago. Guess its time to do a web search. How does it print colored pictures, looking for something to be used for more than negatives.
Thanks,
Dave

David,
Mine came with a packet of 4X6 photo paper and it produces a high-quality print. In fact, I bought more of the same paper when I found it on sale at our local Office Depot. I think I paid about $75 for the printer after deducting the coupons I had. Using coupons, what a frugal shopper I am. :-)
