What and When is the largest Engraving show in the USA ?
is there an Engraving only show ? or engraving/ promotions type show ?
or is the only show tied up with trophies etc ?

We run an industrial/ Sign / commercial engraving style Business.

Peter

Peter,

I doubt there's "one" answer to your question, but in my view, the Awards & Recognition Association (ARA) show, held in Las Vegas each year is the pinnacle for the A&E industry. Mostly awards and engraving equipment, but the last show, had a good showing of sublimation suppliers as well.

The NBM shows are known for having a wider range of processes on display, i.e. embroidery, large format digital imaging, vinyl graphics and more.

Both organizations have several shows per year, but as much as Las Vegas is the high point of the year for ARA, I'm not sure if a "must go" venue has been determined for the NBM shows.

I'll be at the NBM show in Long Beach, CA in July. Being a native Southern Californian, and beach-bum-at-heart, that location works very well for me :-)

I would say that the ISA show in Las Vegas is the best show for the sign business. Too bad, it just past. Sign World in Atlantic City is pretty good. It's the first week in December. It's a pretty good size.

The ISS shows are the best for screen printing and embroidery. The best one in in Long Beach in January.

Ok guys,

for Engraving/ signs / promotional, which is the better of the two shows,if you had to make the choice.

Peter,

I think it depends on a person's main area of interest. As an engraver, I like engraving shows, which increasingly, cover more than just engraving.

If I were specifically thinking of adding promotional items or signs, I'd go to a show which focuses primarily on those items and processes.
