The July 2005 issue of the Engravers Journal tells the story of how, in 1975, two New Hermes sales reps (Mike Davis & Jim Farrell) hatched an idea for a newsletter, and without a clear-cut plan, went on to develop our industry's first bona fide trade magazine.

Very interesting story.
