We are in need of a heat press. The one we have now is dying and it is a 15 x 16 heating area. We would like to keep same size, we only use it for aluminum plates.
I would like some recommendations on where and what to get.

If all you do are aluminum plates, a clam shell style is perfectly adequate. If you have a view to pressing slightly thicker items, you'll want to make sure a floating platen is one of the features of the new press.
