I will attach a photo, but I have trouble with the size of photo - it seems to exceed the forum limits and I don't know how to make them smaller. I've tried and tried to work this out, and just are not computer savvy enough I guess.
So if it's too big, I'm sorry!

I can be more specific if you use Photoshop CS or Corel Photo-Paint 12.
(You reduce the file size by eliminating unneeded information.)

1) Load photo into editing software.
2) Make any "quality" adjustments as usual.
3) Crop to remove any unneeded background.
4) Re-sample: maintain aspect ratio, set longest side to 7", DPI=72.
5) Save file as jpg, select compression. (The best compression setting is a judgment call balancing file size and picture quality.)

To further shrink the file size you may try some of the following:
*) Extract item. (make background one solid color.)
*) Re-sample to make smaller. (Use less then 7" in step 4 above.)
*) Convert to black and white

That is a Faro display. Isn't it great looking? I have another in my front glass case.

My revised attachment went through after following Kens instructions, but when you clicked on it, nothing was there except a box with a red x in it.

Does anyone want to share the price that they are putting on these pans and lids??

Thanks
Harold

I'm selling in complete pan & lid sets and going with the pebble pattern pans which are a little more pricey. I'm shooting for $35 for the 9x13, $32 for 9x9, $30 for 9" round, and $38 for 10x15 jelly roll.

I offered a no obligation to buy "pre-order/reservation" discount of $5 off to get a feel for how many I should order for my first order. I had 11 9x13, 1 9x9, and 1 10x15. Not all have followed through with the order but most have.

I'm going to try engraving on-site at a couple upcoming craft shows and look for the pans to be the main event. I'll keep you all posted!

Did you create some sort of jig for the lids?

I move the lid to the bottom of my table and let the lip (for lack of better term) of the lid hang over my table with the left side flush to the left of the engravers ruler. It's perfect fit and allows for an even surface for engraving.

You could reset your home position or create a rough template in corel to align your designs accordingly.

I made this one, (saved in Corel 10)

I cut it from 1/4" MDF. I etched the lines into it to help with alignment, and the notch fit well for the tab on the lid on the two lids I've done. Might need tweaking if the lids aren't consistant.

"Tab"...THAT's the word I was looking for! And of course I failed to mention my "rough template" that I use is one you generously shared.

Forgive me...I'm groggy with allergies and just woke up from a nap. :)

Don't take benedryl or nyquil and laser... bad things could happen.
