Full Version: Blocked? Email

The past few weeks I've been having more problems with emails not getting through. (It is not consistent: outgoing, incoming, one account, the other, or both) It is not all email, much of it does work.

I don't believe the problem is on my PC. Every now and then an email will bounce back with a message regarding its rejection. A couple of weeks ago I got one from a spam blocker on the receiver's host that said all email from Verizon accounts was being blocked because Verizon had not replied to them (spam blocker software company) with the requested information to prove that the Verizon email system could not be compromised.

Most just disappear, I only find out when I call to follow up...

Is anyone else running into this?

What email client are you using Ken?

Ken,

Does this mean you did not get my E-Mail?

On my PC I'm using Outlook 2003. (Not "Express")
It puts "blocked" spam into a "Junk E-mail" folder that I check.
I also check the "Norton AntiSpam Folder"
Norton is also setup to not block/delete without telling me.

I finally got it, but there were some difficulties with LaserSketch sending me their PhotoGraV settings file for marble. For over a week nothing worked both ways.

I'm just curious if anyone else has had any problems.

Yes I did, thanks again.

Is (value = value x 0.65) for Definition the only enhancement setting to manually adjust?

What Image Density's are used? Given our past discussion on PPI, should I assume the ppi settings in the Black Raster column are for settings -4,-5,-6.

Where it says "Used with 3D mode" in the blue and red columns, should I assume it refers to the speed/power settings in the column immediately to the left?

Ken,

On the Definition set the power and speed and then click the calculate then take the definition number and multiply it by 65% this equals the number that should be there for the power of your laser tube.

The Image density on every setting is 5, I believe this is what you are asking (4-5-6). The ppi settings are listed for each color (Black, Blue, Red) Black=Raster Blue=Vector mark, Red=Vector cut

Yes this is for photo work on certain materials
Use the power and speed settings in the black then switch the print mode to 3D this works great for photos.

Like I mentioned these are the settings that are used in the materials based driver. They should work the same way in the advanced driver.

Also regarding the vector cutting the settings listed are for materials that are 1/8 and below. The thicker materials you would reduce the speed. The materials based driver calculates this automatically.
