Our asi guy got a Hix Hobby on ebay since it was hard to make a larger investment without knowing if we wanted to get into sublimation very much.

Without having anything to compare it to, I say it seems to work well. We have just done a few small jobs so far. But it did work well with the subliplaques and metal so it was good to have an adjustable thickness swingaway.

We tested the Magic Touch paper with it to and seems to work.

The Hobby Lite is a great little press as long as the max area you will need to press is not much larger than 8 by 11.
