Where can I find exterior-grade adhesive vinyl and transfer tape? What would I use to cut it out with? I am looking to do sayings, or phrases that apply directly to a wall or to wood to hang on the wall. I saw some at www.hathawaysigns.com if anyone is wondering what I am talking about. Any help you can give me would be appreciated.

Tracy,

Vinyl plotters are used to cut vinyl letters from rolls of material.

Tracy - what you are referring to is simply - sign vinyl. As David said should be cut with a sign vinyl plotter - it contains PVC and most manufactures recommend you do not cut it in your laser - it can produce dangerous gases and cause corrosive damage to your machine - including bearings and lens.
I would suggest you contact a sign shop to find a regional source for vinyl materials or do a web search for sign supplies. We get ours from 4 or 5 different warehouse locations in the midwest but, I am sure there are sign supply warehouse closer to you. You may want to build a relationship with a local sign shop to do the cutting of you rather than invest in machine, materials and software to do this.
