Full Version: Substrate needed

Advertising Ideas of Barberton, Ohio sold off the sublimation end of the business to Johnson Plastics. JP seems to be carrying most of AI's line except two products; Subliflock and Sublicloth, and I have left only a partial roll of each.

Subliflock is a polyester flocking material with a heat activated adhesive backing and carrier. Sublicloth is a polyester material with an adhesive backing and a carrier. Both products take dye sublimation and are great for appliques for shirts, etc.

Regretfully, no one at Johnson Plastics has any idea what I'm talking about when I ask about those two items, so it seems apparent they do not have it or know where to get it. I've tried Stahl's, and, boy! was that an expensive experiment just to discover it won't take sublimation :-( (any body want to buy a 5 (less 6")yard roll?

The products are not listed in any of DSSI industry database, nor can I find them at any of the listed vendors' sites.

Ok, to the question: Who, if anybody, sells Subliflock or Sublicloth? Are they available under a different name?

Thanks.

Hi, Lee,

Conde is not on my list of acceptable vendors, but thanks for your quick response.
