I had some trade remaining with some local radio stations. Here is a radio ad we put together. Radio has always stimulated a little business during the holidays, but if I had to pay cash, I wouldn't use this media. Click HERE!

Years back we did trade with the New Orleans Saints (surely soon to be leaving??) and it was on one of the largest stations in the gulf south. While it did bring our name to the public, it generated very little in sales. However, timing is everything and if I was sitting in traffic, thinking about what I needed to get for Christmas, this ad would peak my interest. It is quick but packed with info.

I'd rather be called by my actual name, mispronounced or not, than be called what I am typically called. Just don't call me Hula Boy!

I've had people look at may last name, and ask if it's pronounced like it looks. I'm not sure how else Fish would be pronounced, except gross mispronunciations that sound a lot like swear words....

Is Hula Boy kinda the same as Howlie?

I was looking up Hula Boy's street address online to ship him an item and ran across Croquet Boy. Could this be our Hula Boy mentioned on the calendar of this link? http://www.mauicroquetclub.org/Calendar.htm

P.S. I looked at their directory and found this. Could this be HULA BOY?

Gee ... this 'thread' is getting a bit raunchy .... I like it! Keep it up ... I had no idea Hula Boy was so talented .... I wonder if he has been sniffing too much glue from his wife's upholstery shop?

Raunchy? Please get your mind out of the gutter!

Croquet is played on a grass field using wood mallets to knock a wood ball, about 4" in diameter, through a series of "wickets" which are bent wire in the cheap versions and wood arches in the better sets.

Golf is played on a grass field and uses a "bent" stick to hit a smaller ball towards a hole in the ground, ususally marked with a flag on a pole so you can see it from far away. Usually this "game" is described as a nice walk ruined by stressful activities......

What ever were you thinking? :S
