I recently bought a Scripta Model GP pantograph engraver on EBAY. I thought I got a good deal until I realized the template holder is missing. Does anyone know where to buy parts for this model?

Try:

Scripta Machine Tool Corp.

Fairfield, NJ

Location of product manufacturer: Scripta, France

Company's parts-and-labor warranty period (days): 365

Scripta Machine Tool has been a manufacturer of manual and computerized engraving systems, cutter grinding machines and bevelers since the 1930s. The company's equipment line ranges from lower-end pantograph machines to heavy-duty industrial systems, which engrave and mill on a variety of substrates, including plastic and stainless steel. A cast construction is responsible for the machines' strength and endurance.

Thanks, I saw that in a database too. However, the phone number is now a doctor's office. I'm stumped, I can't find anyone who carries this manufacturer in the U.S.

Maybe you can locate them in France and email/ask who their new distributor is on this side of the pond...

Randy,

They'll be closed until the begiining of the year, but Panterials, located in Chatsworth, CA, is, or used to be, a Scripta distributor.

Mark Berlant, may have an answer for you.
