Yes, according to researchers, today, Jan. 23, 2006 is Blue Monday.

The study claims this is the the day a number of factors converge to make for the most depressing day of the year.

Some of the variables include the realization that New Year's resolutions aren't being adhered to, credit card charges from the past holiday are arriving, bank accounts are lower than usual and weather in many parts of the country isn't helping matters.

Is this, indeed, Blue Monday for you?

Well, let's see....here in Michigan we get on average 220 days of clouds.....today was sunny!

I don't make new year's resolutions...

I don't use credit card for Christmas shopping...

I have had a real good start to 2006 so far with work...

Guess it's not blue monday for me!!

David
I heard the same on the radio today. If you can hold out, June 23rd is the happiest and least depressing day of the year.

Typical Monday for me.

Like Brian, I didn't go into hock for Christmas, weather is a little windy, but very nice.

Business is on the slow side, but typical for this time of year for me.

For my friends in Denver (Epilog Laser) and Carolina (Roy Hatley), yesterday was Blue Monday (but it had more to do w/ the NFL games the day before than anything else)!

My Blue Monday was Jan. 2 when the Cowboys managed to miss the playoffs again this year. :'-(
