Does anyone know if the Hilton runs a shuttle to and from the airport?
Don't want to rent a car if I don't have to.
Is the Hilton close to the Vegas hot spots?
Which begs the question, what are the Vegas hotspots?
We are leaving on a 7:25 PM flight on Friday, any suggestions as to what to do with our bags from noon checkout till we have to leave for airport?
All these burning questions.
Thanks for your help and we are looking forward to meeting all you great forum people.
Greg

Getting anywhere in Vegas, from the airport, is no problem.
Not sure what to do with your luggage, before your return trip, but I'm sure it's a common situation that the Hilton has covered. Possibly a temporary storage area. <shrug>

The Hilton will allow for you to store your luggage with the Concierge until your ready to leave. Getting back to the airport is never a problem, as you will have choices of group riding in a limo, bus, and taxi. Some people actually ride back on buses that are at the show to hotel closer to the airport, so they won't have to pay as much for taxi fare.
The important thing is to give yourself the necessary time for making sure you can get the ride. At the end of the day, some of the lines get long about waiting for the bus or taxi rides to the various locations. From experience, don't cut yourself short on time, and get stuck waiting in the long line.

GB, grabbed this review from the link below, But can tell you first hand ALL TRUE..
Try the Stratosphere Tower the views are spectacular. The food is very good, It can be very romantic, and if you really want to impress someone, book a reservation for sunset and watch the valley twinkle in the twilight. If you want a good deal, though, check out the lunch menu here, which starts just over $10 and includes a free ride up the tower.
This also is a some what short cab ride from the Hilton. After dinner look for the hot water massage the way down. One of the better saw bucks I have spent in Vegas.

Greg
Tell them your from Buck County and your a big spender and they will send the limo. ;-)
From the airport to the Hilton is a $15.00 - $20.00 cab ride only takes a few minutes.
Our first trip out there we took the shuttle bus from the airport - it's very cheap, maybe $5.00 or $6.00 each - I got to see every hotel in Las Vegas before they took me to mine (it was a special treat that I did not even have to pay for) problem was I could have cared less about seeing all those other places and an hour and half on the bus just did not seem like it was much fun. :'-( I have suggest that the wife and I hitch hike to the hotel but for the last several years she has convinced me that the taxi might be the best option if I wanted to enjoy my trip.
Once at the Hilton the new Mono-Rail can get you to those "Hot-Spots" cheap.
Both the Hilton and the Convention Center have a place for your luggage, so you can leave from either location. They do try to make it convenient for people attending conventions.
Looking forward to meeting you.
You and I have been around this forum a long time.

Thanks for the shuttle info.
I not big on bus tours after long plane rides.
Sounds like the taxi is worth the extra $.
BTW - The county I live in really is called "Bucks County".
Thanks

I have another question. Is there a pack-and-ship type place nearby? Lat time I was in Vegas my suitcase almost got kicked off the plane because of the weight! This time I plan to ship all my "loot" back ahead.
Any advice?
