Well looks like I'm going to have to purchase a new engraver and was wondering if anyone knows what companies will be at the ARA show with their computerized rotary engravers?

Thanks,
Puck

Puck,

Every engraving equipment manufacturer, who caters to the A&E industry will be there. Can't make the same claim for regional shows.

It's really the one to attend, if possible.

Stunt Engraver,

Since I'm going to the show, usually do every other year, and my engraver up and died yesterday morning I thought if I could check out some websites of engravers I might have a handle on what machines to look at.

So far I have purchased both my engravers from the ARA show so might as well make it three unless I find a good used deal before the show gets here.

Thanks,
Puck

Puck,

Are you familiar with any of the manufacturer reps near you in Kuna, ID? If not, get an informal rating of your area manufaturer and service reps from the other shops in your area. This is an importantf actor and will help narrow down the choices. Depending on your product mix, below are a few on the usual suspects.

Xenetech
Gravograph-New Hermes
Newing-Hall
Quest (Quality One Engravers)
Vision
Roland

Our "links" section, located at the top of this page, has links to a number of equipment manufacturers.

Your old machine sounds repairable. A new one may be in order, but it's always nice to have a back-up.

Good advice on checking reps. I'll see what I can find out.

Thanks for pointing the links out, hadn't looked in there. Has some good places to check out.

Depending on the repair for the old machine I need to have something to do these engraving jobs and soon. I might have to out source them and not looking forward to that. I can do some on the small engraver but theres some that I just can't do with it.

Thanks,
Puck
