Full Version: How do you box them up?

I have an order for 280 trophies ranging in size from 14 1/2" tall to 9 1/2" tall. I will be delivering them to the high school about 1 1/2 miles from my shop so there is minimal concern about shipping. My question is how should I box them up? They are 1st place through 6th place in several different categories and the sets must be kept together.

Do you stand each one up in a box (I can get 18 in each box this way and use 16 boxes)? Or do you lay them down in the box separating layers with paper? If I do this I will cut the number of boxes at least in half.

Not too worried about the cost of the boxes just the space that they will take. Also worried that, because the 14 1/2" was taller than my local box supplier stocks, I won't be able to shut the boxes. They will be delivered two to three days before the competition. I don't want them to be in the way and get moved around and damaged.

Thanks,
