I have the opportunity to pick up a surplus IS400 for about $3K. It does not come with Gravostyle software, just the hardware itself, and with a vise table.
Good deal?
I'm assuming I could use any engraving software or Corel Draw to engrave.
Your opinions are appreciated.

Unless the machine has been used and abused, that is a excellent deal.
Let me know if you decide against it. That is the kind of deal I've been seeking out for a second machine that a want, but don't necessarily need, for my home workshop.

You will need to purchase the software and dongle.
I cannot send to engraver from Corel.
Software w/dongle from New Hermes is $2-$3 thousand I think.
I'd look into it first.
