Full Version: Is this a Photograv problem?

Shutting down an application is supposed to free up the memory that the program uses, it is a good thing. Only when Corel 9, (maybe others), crashes and closes is the memory still reserved and unusable.

Just wait until Windows Vista comes out at the end of the year

Yes, there will probably be a whole new 'Vista' of problems.

Ha,
Boy! am I with you. My memory is horrible.
I only have 512 in my computer also, and I am running XP and also Corel 12
So far, I am ok, but I will be thinking about adding more memory also.
Have a nice day,
barb

I just added 1GB to my pc at home, and it helped a lot!

Dell sold me 2 sticks of 512MB for my shop pc, but I only have two slots...one of which already had a 512MG stick. So, I have an extra 512 that I can't use. I'm gonna call Dell today to get them to take it back.

When looking for memory, you can purchase from the vendor (Dell, HP, etc) for more $ or you can use www.crucial.com or www.memoryx.com both have very good memory and prices.

It's hard to beat www.zipzoomfly.com especially after you consider the free shipping.
