We are looking for a small rotary engraver that is portable, could be taken to shows, sporting events, etc. If anyone has one one they are looking to get rid of for a good deal, please let me know.

What is small? I have a 1313 Xenetech with all the attatchments, cutters and chip removal system. Has less than 80 hours of runtime and is two years old. I closed my engraving business. 8500.00

Not sure if you found what you were looking for, but I have three machines available and lots of templates.

I have one old GT for diamond drag only, one small TX which has a motor and will do flat sign and plare work only. I also have a third newer machine for diamond work only. Can send pictures if you want - make offer on them.

Thanks,
Ralph

Hi
Are you looking for a manual or computer machine? If you are looking for a computer style then check with Roy Brewer at Engraving Concepts and see if they have anything they have taken as a trade in. There is a banner ad running for them on this forum. For compactness You may want to look for a Dahlgren Wizard XL but make sure you get someone on this forum to tell you the good and the bad.

Is this the one and only Tom Franklin that I have know for years? I have a good friend named Tom Franklin who lives in Florida.

I am just curious if this is the same Tom?

Hi Tracy,
There are two good options if you want to get a new engraver with a warranty. One is the New M20 from Gravograph - it is about 20lbs and engraves in a 4"x4" area with a pen attachment. It also has a red spotting beam and auto Z ajust. You can get it for under $5K. Second, if you need a bigger engraving area, there is the M40 with an 8"x12" engraving area and they now come with a deep vise for 4 1/2" of Z clearance to hold bigger items. Again, it has the red spotting beam and the auto Z. I weighs aporx. 55lbs. You can get that for under $7K.

Yes, I work for Gravograph-New Hermes and have done so for over 15 years up here in Minnesota. I don't know what town you live in, but if you have any questions about our stuff, please let me know.

Cordially,
Jim Dow

The red spotting beam is a valuable addition to the machines, it makes pointing to an oddball shape very easy.

I am waiting for a retrofit for the IS400. I would love it.

Thanks, but we purchased one last year. If we do have a need in the future, I will keep you in mind.
