Is there a way in corel (I have X3) to add comments so the next time I open that file I know what settings I used. Like what my laser was set at or what font I had used, When fonts are changed to curves that info is not kept. Basically a place I can keep notes for myself so I have them all in one place for the next time. Thanks

Not positive but I think anything not within the page size will not print or laser.

You should be able to add a layer and put your info on that. Then hide the layer when printing or during your work on the image.

Another option is when saving a drawing, when you click save as go down to options and it will give a "notes" box for saving information. problem is when you open the drawing this will disappear.

The way I do it is to add a layer, then click on the printer icon for that layer to make it a non-printing layer. Select that layer and put the text there.

Then the text always shows but does not print.

Thank you to all. I like the add notes to a page and disable the print and the notes when saving. Ill try those two and see which seems most natural.

Chris, I just put them on the page or outside the page in Cyan or another color that I don't normally use.
