I just bought a used Epson 1280 with a clogged black jet and a used bulk ink system the owner bought from wwww.shopdyesub.com plus some transfer paper. Basically the printer was free and it was good price on the ink system. I already have a 1280 for doing resists. What would you recommend as the next step (other than fixing the printer)? I'd like to do t-shirts and then anything else that follows on.
Any advice appreciated.

Jim,
Your first step should be seeing if the printer is actually clogged, or if the bulk ink system is the cause of the lack of ink flow.
You could do that by installing OEM cartridges.

Jim,
Standard Epson ink cartridges are a good test, to see if the clog, (which is more often a matter of air in the system) is actually a clog.
Happy Birthday! :-)

After you determine the state of your printer, let us know.

The 60's. What's that, a line of engravers or a series of different shaped bits? I tnink I remember a singing group by that name, or was it a band? I get confused sooooo easily. Oh wow, maaaaaan.........................
