I have been there for the "silent auctions" when they come in. Amazing how well the communications can go when the customer knows what they want without a word being said.
Now you have to learn the dialects but do NOT speak to the customers except in english. It is a real treat to know just what the customers are thinking when they don't think you can understand them..
Congrats on a good day! Time to get the Zippo specials at the show today!

Congratulations on the sales. I imagine these were items sold right off the shelf, unengraved? You have to love those kind of sales.
As I was reading your story a question came to mind. Do you have a big Zippo logo in your front display window, or a freestanding rotating display in the entrance to the store?
