The manufacturer of the "poly-mug" sent me some quite awhile back for testing in our presses. They are a very straight sided plastic mug that can be sublimated or used with the OEM laser toners. The only problem I see is the percieved value difference between ceramic and plastic. They are almost unbreakable.

Mick, Mick, Mick! :S

It is all in the perspective!

This is the weekend that begins the summer bar-b-que and pool season!

Time to have sturdy, personalized beverage mugs that can SAFELY be used outdoors and around the pool with NO WORRY of it falling & breaking and possibly cutting little feet on the patio.

As I said, it is all in the perspective (marketing)! B-)

Mick,

What's the quality of the PolySub mug image?

It's difficult to determine, through a catalog ad, but from what I could tell, the sublimated image didn't look as crisp as I would expect to see from a ceramic mug.

David
I didn't do any side by side comparisons, but they looked good.

Thank you Mick.

Maybe, as Steve points out, it's all in the perception of the product and in highlighting its strong points.
