Sign of the times I'm afraid Dave. Its happening everywhere around the world at present. A friend of mine got into trouble shooting a group of kids playing soccer in a public park in London. The Bobbies asked why he had such an interest in photographing children...... so it goes.

Mike,

Looks like hidden cameras won't be just for sting operations anymore.

If people start using hidden cameras, for what they'd normally shoot, "in the open" I'd hate to see what happens to them, if they get caught at that point.

hehe.

My take is to use your biggest and most professional looking rig, the longest lens you own with a pro strobe. If you get caught, you can at least claim freedom of speach or shooting in the public domain. Using a small concealed camera would only lead to more suspicion.....God I hate all those cell phone camera junkies! The world is awash in mediocre images being WiFi'd to an online server. Just imagine what an overload that will represent to the "V-ger" discoverers in the future.....I know, obtuse.
