Did you hear this news story, from approx. a week ago?

There's a new disease, called Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED)

(Not the same IED, as in, Improvised Explosive Device, of Iraq fame)

You may know IED, by its more common name of, "Road Rage."

This should come as good news, for those who don't believe in taking personal responsibility for their actions, as well as the pharmaceutical companies, pychiatrists and Drs., who can now treat and prescribe drugs for the treatment of IED.

Let's not forget about the attorneys, who can now strenuously defend their maladjusted clients, on the grounds of their having this pervasive illness, or syndrome.

This is perfect! Sure beats exercising a little personal impulse control. :-)

I about drove my car into oncoming traffic when I first heard them talking about it. Why has this society gotten to the point that we can't be responsible for our actions anymore? No one is guilty for their actions anymore because there is always an excuse to fall back on now days that relieves them of all personal resposibilty.
