Full Version: Truth stranger than fiction

A guy on a Honda Gull Wing leaves Atlanta with his final destination Whitefish in NW Montana. He travels 2900 miles without a problem and than 88 miles from his destination he gets T-Boned by an adult male black bear while going 55 MPH (the biker, not the bear). The collision kills the bear and the guy on the bike is unhurt, in fact he didn't even dump the bike!!

Dave,

Wow!

I hope the guy has a "claws" in his insurance policy, to cover that type accident. :-)

I think he's probably going to just grin and bear it.

It's kind of sad to know there's a bear out there, without its "Honey."

Without its honey and still having a "smashing" time.

Well, maybe, but I'm sure the bear would prefer to be at a "Cubs" game. :-)

I don't know what's worse, getting T-boned by a bear, or being "steaked" to a tree.

You'd have to "grill" the motorcyclist, for an answer to that question.

Steve,

I'd "shutter" to think of it.

That would be a "Grizzly" find.

Steve,

I'll have to pop the "cap" off a Coca-"Koala" and mull that one over.

David,

Uncle Loren said you should limit your "exposure" to that stuff....

He served it at a party once and it was pure "panda"monium...

OK "den"....I'll give up...

But, as a quick aside....I was telling the story to Uncle Loren about a collision invoving a bike and a bear. Before I could get all of the facts out, he looked at me matter of factly and asked, 'Oh my, was the bear driving'?

Of course my response was 'Does a bear "shift" in the woods'? >.<

Steve,

You asked:

'Does a bear "shift" in the woods'?

Answer:

Only at "The House on Pooh Corner."

You may have seen the "film."
