Is Corel X3 better than corel 12? I use corel 12 for engraving and I thinking about X3.

The trace function is much better in X3 than it is in version 12. If you import into Corel a lot of .AI and .EPS files, X3 is a problem since the program sometimes freezes up. Corel is suppose to be coming out sometime soon with a service pack to fix this problem. Most of the problem files can be opened in Corel 12 than saved so you can work in X3. Hope this helps. Dave

Hi Mido,
While there are many here that know more about corel than myself, I started with 12 and upgraded to X3..... there are many features that have been improved on... so I would recommend the upgrade.....if you NEED it.

Mido,

Not in response to Corel, but I noticed, "Sorry my English is bad!!" is part of your signature.

Your English is fine and I would suggest removing that line from your signature.

Just a suggestion.

To place a picture, (actually the picture not a link), in your post you must have a web site that contains the image.

Then you enable HTML at the bottom of the posting form and insert a link such as this
code:
<img src="http://www.accentonengraving.com/accentlogo.jpg" border="0" />

Do a preview just to be sure it is correct. (That is the code for my signature logo, the software automatically adds the size dimensions.)

Feel free to make your image a live link.

Alternatively, if you enable HTML in your posts, or signature, simply typing www.becart.ba becomes a link, as you can see.

David,et al .. for about 2 weeks now I can't see any icons in the signature line of anybody. My preferences have it enabled but I don't see them. Any thoughts? Thanks

When you check your preferences and it is shown, hit the 'Save' button anyway.
