Are any of you getting a rash of viruses sent to you as attachments to emails in particular the W32.Beagle@mm!zip virus? We must be getting 4 to 5 a day! Dave

Luckily not yet.

But I am getting a rash of messages with no message. I am currently just blocking the sender.

Does anyone know what that is about?

I'm getting a bunch of those too, that just have a header with nothing below it. It's not even a complete header. I can usually tell them by their size (0.3k or 0.4k)

Usually when you suddenly get a rash of virus emails it means that somebody who has your address in their system has been infected. It continues until they discover and fix their virus.

The problem is that the virus usually hides who the emails are coming from, so you can't easilly tell that it's somebody you know (or at least somebody who has your address). I had that 6 months ago and the emails seemed to all be coming from this local area. I contacted roadrunner, since the IP in the header indicated one of their servers. It turned out that my landlord had an infected computer. Once they found out, and eliminated the virus, the infected emails stopped.
