You are right, I love Austin and have basically considered Central Texas my home since about 15 minutes after getting here. My boss is from Sulphur Springs - he is an old dude and played against Don Meredith in high school

Ah...Dandy Don from Mt Vernon. There used to be a billboard just west of Mt Vernon advertising that Don was from there, but that had to be 20 years ago.
Who's your boss? If he was here in the last 25 years or so, there's a good chance that I (or my parents) will know him.

His name is Joe Williams. I think he had 3 or 4 brothers and his Dad was the post master and ran a farm.

Hi Dee,
Not really, my parents met in the military but both left shortly after I was born. My Father has gone through life with "the grass is greener on the other side" mentality. Not always a good thing, I later joined the military as well. Now I hope to be buried where I live lol
