A monthly feature of our new site will be a "Member Spotlight."
We'll have a member submit photos of themselves and their location, which will be accompanied by a short article.
Would you like to be the subject of our first Member Spotlight?
Do you have suggestions, as to which company/person you'd like to see Spotlighted?

Open or closed? I'd prefer closed. :-)

We're just winding up a mini-remodel of the store, trying to make 550 sq. ft. look like a lot more.
Of course, you said the "new" site, so I'm not sure of YOUR timing.
Anyway, count us in at whatever point is convenient for you. B-)

As far as I'm concerned, Victor Valley Trophy & Awards Co. can be first in the lineup.
Timing is up for grabs. A week or two? Not sure, but we're getting much closer, now that the May-June crunch is behind us.
It's given me much more time to devote to nailing down the logisitics.
Looking forward to seeing your company prominently showcased. :-)

Thank you for your offer. We'll put you in the lineup.
As you say, this will be another way for our members to know who they're (typing) talking to online. :-)

David,
It sounds like you are about to get into the video and media production, it's a lot of fun, but also a great deal of work. One word of advice is "BANDWIDTH" a short video will be 30-40 megs in size for storage and plan on at least a gigabyte of download bandwidth for each one. Those are the numbers so far for each video we have done, and you have more members so your download bandwidth is going to be much larger.
Soon you will be known as the "Stunt Producer" B-)

Ken,
The Member Spotlights will be text with photos, although some of our features will be videos.
For videos, beyond brief tips and tricks, we'll probably offer an online sample, with the full version available on DVD.
Thanks for the heads up. :-)

David,
DVD's, now that will be a ton of work and very time consuming . Camtasia uses 4-6 megabytes per minute of video, compressed. DivX videos from your video camera is 6-10 megabytes per minute. Bandwidth would still be cheaper than making DVD's.

I have people interested in doing tons of work. :-)
Thanks for the added information. Good to know.
