Wow...I've read about several folks that have had trouble with X3 crashing.
We have it on 3 different machines, and have never had an issue with it. <Cody knocks on head>

X3 has not crashed for me, but XP just did. Dreaded blue screen and even the power button on the computer no longer worked. Had to pull the plug. I was trying to post a reply and all went blue. A drive scan at reboot said that a settings directory for IE5 was totally unreadable.
I'll take an X3 crash over that any day.

Harvey,
I had trouble with XP right after SP2 became available. When I installed SP2 on this particular machine (the only one I had at the time), several applications got dreadfully slow, and a couple wouldn't run at all. Once I uninstalled SP2, everything was fine again.
That machine is now my daughter's, and it has ME on one partition, and XP on another. The ME side runs better than the XP. I guess it has to do with the age/model of the machine...but I'm not sure.
XP seems to work fine on all my other machines. <cody knocks on head again, giving him an early-morning headache>

Does anyone know what bugs the first patch is going to fix ?
