We were remodeling my daughter's room this weekend and found yet another use for the laser...LOL Okay, so we didn't laser engrave her entire room, but we did do the wooden drawer pulls we put on her dresser. Check out the photos of how it came out. Really nice addition to her room.

Did you mask and spray the image black?

No, I didn't mask and spray though I wish I had. They were just painted and didn't burn as dark as I wanted so I sprayed with some urethane and then paint filled. Next time I'll mask and spray I think...though the paint fill went nicely.

Do you see the custom pull handles as a customized/personalized product, you could offer to cabinet makers etc?

I would agree that you dont' see them too often any more, but for customized projects like the one I did...I think they are still viable.
