Colorado dumps to a division II-A school? What next, the Boulder High School for the Deaf??

Mick, I think all bets are off this season. It would be too easy to snag your bet..... ;-)

Yes, it certainly looks like a long year for our Beefalos. I think the Big XII North trophy might go to Lincoln this year, Dammit, anywhere but there !
I have never been one to back out, so the bet is on again this year, who knows, last weeks game might have been a psychological ploy by our new coach. Huck the Fuskers ! Go Buffs !

Hula,

And the real funny thing is MSU isn't the best Div. 1-AA school here in Montana. Maybe the Buffalos need to hire Newheisal.

Tom went to watch the Huskers ( I think) and became a fan...much to the disgust of the Kansas guys that he was staying with as they all hoped he would become a Kansas fan..

( does that make sense? )

regards
Peter

P.S. what sport do the Huskers play ?

It was probably American Football but it could have been your football, our soccer.

Now that I've got you totally confused...

The Huskers TRY to play football (American) but they are not as good at it as the Buffalos that live in Colorado.

Hmmmm. What was last year's score Mick? NU 30, Hollywood U 3?? And we have a much improved offense this year, same defense.

The lean Calahan transition years are over Mick. NU will probably place in the top 10 this year if all goes well and it sure looks good from the opening game. We have a running game again to befuddle opponents before we pass, pass, pass their asses off. Can I say that here? Next year, watch out! The Big Red is back and acclimated to the West Coast Offense. The Red is deadly to sour Buffalo meat. There may be a contest somewhere in the next 5 years but I doubt it..... :-) My Ahi steaks seem secure for the time being.

It is such fun watching the Huskers now. Who woulda thought that NU would become a deadly passing offense with four interchangeable running backs? Beware the name "Lucky". He'll drive you nuts.

Dave,

The Buffs have always had a problem with their MTV image. They actually believe that will win games. Newheisal, McCartney, doesn't matter. The Buffs party too much to be in contention. Now take those west coast transplants who come to Lincoln to graduate to the bigs, add all those 300 pound Nebraska plowboys who just want to gobble up defensive/offensive lines with no chance of a shot for the cover of Rolling Stone......it doesn't surprise me that MSU beat CU.

What's Mick putting in the water in Colorado? Now I see a number of FB players at CSU just got nailed for bank fraud.

Dave, do the boys from Storrs even play football, or just B-Ball ?? It looks like the Husk (ies and ers) are ganging up on us Big XII North CHAMPIONS.

Now, now Mick, the Huskies went to a Div 1-A Bowl game 2 years ago and actually won.. They have only been in 1-A for about 8 years. The only Bowl the Buff's will be going to this year is, nah won't go there (devil)

Mick,

Montana State U just just lost at home to a Division II school!!!
Chadron State 35-24!! The Beefaloes loss last week gets worse all the time. I don't think that Div II even allows scolarships

The Buffs are now 0-2 after todays loss to Colorado State. At least I couldn't lose today, I went two years to each school. CU does look pretty bad this year.

Mick,

It has to be the water!! Now the back-up kicker for Northern Colorado is being accused of "Tanya Hardinging" the starting kicker by stabbing him in the leg.

Maybe the third string kicker paid the second string kicker to stab the first string kicker in the kicking leg. The third string kicker is now the first string kicker, the original first string kicker is now in the hospital, the original second string kicker is in jail. There is now only one kicker on the team.

We get our kicks on route 66

Steve,

The coach should have never told the rookie kicker to take a stab at it.

Something, evidently, got lost in the translation. :-)

He was trying to carve out the first string position for himself.
