I miss that feature too, it is what you get used to......Yes, the mousewheel works fine, but a lot of people will have tablets !
One step forward, 1 1/2 back

I don't have my PC handy to make you a GMS file, but you can do this with a macro (I'm pretty sure :S )

Step by step
1) "Tools" - "Visual Basic" - "Visual Basic Editor"
2) On the left pane of editor, navigate to "Global Macros", expand
3) Expand "Modules", double click on "CorelMacros"
4) On right screen, go to bottom and add new line
code:
Public sub ZoomOut ()
  activewindow.activeview.zoomout
End Sub

5) Save and Close editor

Then set up the shortcut key
1) "Tools" - "Customization"
2) expand to "Workspace" - "Customization" - "Commands"
3) in dropdown box, choose "Macros"
4) Scroll down to and select "CorelMacros.ZoomOut"
5) Select "Shortcut Keys" tab
6) Click in "New Shortcut Key:" box
7) press "F3"
8) it will say currently assigned, but click "Assign" anyway.

Done

While you're there, you can navigate to "View" from the pull down, and change F2 to "Zoom In" as opposed to "Zoom One Shot" if you want.

Let me know if it doesn't work and I'll play with it on my X3 machine more when I get home. If there is any confusion, I will post screen shots to make it easier to make sure we're on the same page.

Hi all,
I also use the scroll for zooming but does anyone know how to change the amount it zooms, in v11 my scroll was in incrcements of 50%, ie 100% then one roll was 150% one more was 200%, which was fine, in X3 my one scroll of the mouse is from 100% to 200% then 300%, which is a lot harder to work with, any ideas? Everything else in X3 is great and worth the update.

thanks Clive.

I scoured the settings and INI files, and didn't see any settings for that, they still might be in there somewhere, but I couldn't find them.
