Have you checked your snapping sensitivity settings? If set too low it may not snap where you want it when zoomed out.

I have looked through both Corel 9 ans X3 and cannot find anything even similar to snapping sensitivity settings except a high, medium and low setting in X3.

They seem to be for the closeness to the guide before they snap.

Please enlighten me.

You are right; the settings only set how close you have to be to the snap point. In Draw 12, I can't get anything to snap to guidlines, only objects. >.<

bobkat,

In version 12 & 13 you can set the "Snap To Guidelines" in at least 2 different ways.

1. go to Tools - Options - Guidelines - then check the box "Snap to guidelines"

or

2. right click on your Command Line - then place a check mark beside Property Bar. When you have nothing selected, you will see an icon that has a dotted line and a triangle, click on it - that will allow you to toggle snap to guidelines ON & OFF -

it will also bring up icons for Snap to grid, and Snap to objects among a few others..............
