Gary,

Are you talking about the 2007 version of QB? We have been on QB Premier 2005 and just upgraded to 2007 and find it is a PIG for memory!!!!!!!!!!!!! Runs verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry slow, especially across the same network as 2005 was running.

I keep thinking we don't have the options installed correctly but have been told over and over that we do. Of course QB says you have free 30 day Tech Support, but the e-mail system rejects our registration number and phone support only is voice mail. Looking to upgrade the computer now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGRGGH!

Yep, I've got the 2007 version. It seems to run fine on my computers although they are pretty fast anyway.

My bookkeeper actually is the one who is wanting me to use Peachtree because that is the program she has used for years. My accountant is good with either Peachtree or QB Pro.

I'm kind of ticked off right now. Received a post card from Sage Software saying that I'm not getting my $140 rebate for buying Peachtree because the location it was purchased at was not valid. That is so much bull. I bought it on line from Staples and the rebate offer was plastered all over the offer. And the link to download the rebate paperwork with instructions.

However, when you try and call to get any resolution, you end up in voice recording nightmares and if you try and contact them on-line it is the same thing. No e-mail contact. Interesting. It is on my list of things to do to call Staples and talk to a manager about this situation. Don't know if I can get any resolution, but this just really bugs me.

Anybody else have this problem and find a solution?

I did get my rebate from Staples on the Peachtree software, but I "because of my accountants suggestion" have decided to only work with QB Pro. So far everything is now going great.

Happy to hear you did get your rebate. Did you find the software on line at the Staples site, or did you buy it in the Staples store?

Bought it at the Staples store.
