Just opened the mail and read this from Doughmakers:
To: Lid engraving customers
Effective Immediately
Doughmakers regrets to inform you that effective immediately we will no longer be stocking painted lids for our cake pans. We will inform you at a later date if we intend to again stick any painted products.
Plain un-painted lid products will be available on a first come first serve basis for the foreseeable future. Sorry for this inconvenience as we continue to work through our sourcing issues.

James,
I think it was Frank with Chewbarka that was approached about the anodized cake pan lids. There was no follow through from Frank on this idea, so it's likely setting on his "future product ideas" pile.

Back in my military days I worked for an outfit called CRS but it meant Component Repair Squadron........
