Uncle loren made a minature mouse "trap" to catch some mo"skeet"ers.

When Aunt Enna was in college she won a beauty contest sponsored by the local fire department, they named her "Miss Fire".

Is a meaningless statement actually a "hollow point" ?

No, but speaking one can make you a "small bore"..... :-)

Uncle Loren is doing better with his arms though, and has been busy out in the yard winding up the garden hose. Unfortunately he had to do it over and over again to get it right and now he suffers from "recoil".....

Mick,

Later tonight, I plan to crack open a "Colt 45" and watch "Beretta" reruns.

David,

I see you "aim" to entertain yourself in the "safety" of your living room watching the tube. Guess it beats reading a "magazine"....

Unfortunately Aunt Enna can't see the TV any more after Uncle Loren truned her chair around.....now he's too lazy to "revolver".....

Good news though is that he is planning to make his special legume dish for dinner. He cooks them on the automotive manifold....calls them "car beans".... :O

Steve,

You're making me hungry.

Those beans sound like they'd go good with a Granny "Smith & Wesson" vegetable oil.

I'd contribute more, but right now my brain is 'shot'.

My puns at this time are just a 'flash' in the 'pan', or is that a pain in the ......

I think I will get on my 'Colt' and ride off into the sunset. As 'Rick O'Shay' used to say, if I 'site' anything interesting I'll let you know. First I'll pack my luggage, may have to take the whole kit and 'kaboom-el', and my 'Teflon coat'. (Think that last pun was 'bird shot'.)

Evidently, we're getting down to the "pellets."

David,

Is it true that you're sponsoring a showing out there for paintings by Senator Clinton? I heard you're calling it "Art Hillary".....

Oh well, I'm heading off with Uncle Loren to grab some breakfast at an old ore mine that he found. They serve smoked salmon while you prospect...it's called the "Lode and Lox".....

:-)

Steve,

The gala event is actually a semi-formal dance, with ad specialty hats being handed out.

It's a "cap and ball."

Since most of the attendees will come as Goth characters, there may be a shortage of "black powder" ........

I have a volunteer, to ensure all the ladies will have their make-up needs met.

I'll let "Pearl handle" that.

Well, I don't know about you folks, but "Ammo" be there! :-)

Unfortunately Uncle Loren and Aunt Enna can't make it.....he's has to work down at the ceramics shop today, as they're putting decals on products, and his job is to work the kiln along with others.....he's part of the "firing squad"....

Aunt Enna just got a new job down at the Western shirt factory....her task is to sew in the areas that the buttons will go into.....we never knew she was an expert "Holster"....

Steve,

There are a few people in this thread, who don't normally post puns.

That's the "derringer" in opening it up to everyone.

David,

I thought there were those just looking to "muzzle" me...... ;-)

I'm heading over to help Uncle Loren with his new lawn. He tore it up and ran electrical wires beneath, and now has to place new grass on top....

He wants to get it done before the rain sets in and he has to walk across it....he doesn't want to be faced with a "sod off shockin'"....

David,

Absolutely, the more the merrier! After all, I see from the stats that there are quite a few "casing" this thread.... and they're all invited to come in...no "jacket" required. :-)

Even Aunt Enna was going to jump in...until Uncle Loren decided to "silencer"....

I was "rifling" through the posts in this thread and see how on "target" this new folder is. I think Dave hit the "bullseye" with this folder. It took a lot of "brass" on his part to make the "case" for a special folder, but he got the "lead" out and did it.
